For the last workout of the week, I thought I would share a new exercise that focuses on loosening up the lower back!
As mentioned in previous posts, the lower back can easily become stiff after vigorous table tennis sessions as we have to bend low for lengthy periods of time. Therefore it’s important that we make sure our lower back is loose and ready for exercise before table tennis training begins!
Fitness Goal: aim for 4-5 reps for today’s exercise (note: 1 rep = completing the stretch in both directions!)
Tip: try and focus and centre your balance whilst performing this stretch as it’s easy to lose your footing!
