Day 1 (Week 5) – Table Tennis Fitness

Hello everyone, and welcome to Week 5! I can’t believe we’re already into our second month here on the blog – it felt like yesterday since I uploaded my first ever post!

Before we begin today’s Table Tennis Fitness, I just want to thank you for being a part of this new table tennis journey with me. I very much appreciate all of your nice comments and well-wishes, and I hope that I have been able to answer all of your questions that I received on Social Media regarding table tennis tips!

Since we are now in our second month of the blog, I thought it would be great to change things up a little. Up until this point, the focus has been on fitness exercises to try and help your game. However, pre-workout warm-ups are just as essential and shouldn’t ever be neglected. Therefore, we are going to start looking a bit more in-depth into warming up before table tennis training and fitness sessions!

For today’s exercise, we will be warming up our hips and our lower back with a nice relaxing exercise – Hip Circles!

As explained in the video, simply place your hands on your hips and rotate clockwise in a circular motion. Do this for 10-15 seconds, and then repeat in the opposite direction to complete today’s exercise!

This blog provides information related to exercise, fitness and is intended for your personal use and informational purposes only. You should always consult with a physician before beginning any exercise or fitness especially if you are pregnant or have any pre-existing health conditions. Nothing in this blog should ever be considered as medical advice. These are exercises that I personally do, and recommend, however your use of the blog is solely at your own risk.
