Hello everyone, and welcome to Week 5! I can’t believe we’re already into our second month here on the blog – it felt like yesterday since I uploaded my first ever post!
Before we begin today’s Table Tennis Fitness, I just want to thank you for being a part of this new table tennis journey with me. I very much appreciate all of your nice comments and well-wishes, and I hope that I have been able to answer all of your questions that I received on Social Media regarding table tennis tips!
Since we are now in our second month of the blog, I thought it would be great to change things up a little. Up until this point, the focus has been on fitness exercises to try and help your game. However, pre-workout warm-ups are just as essential and shouldn’t ever be neglected. Therefore, we are going to start looking a bit more in-depth into warming up before table tennis training and fitness sessions!
For today’s exercise, we will be warming up our hips and our lower back with a nice relaxing exercise – Hip Circles!
As explained in the video, simply place your hands on your hips and rotate clockwise in a circular motion. Do this for 10-15 seconds, and then repeat in the opposite direction to complete today’s exercise!
